HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDRU!
Andru is 13 today!
We started the day with our 4th day of VBS.
I believe Andru had a good day.
He got a card from one of the wonderful women at church and they sang to him
VBS was another good day!
The weather has been perfect this week for outside recreation!
Not too much wind and not too hot.
Just perfect!
Josie loves to perform onstage! She is always ready to volunteer!
Andru got to pick what he wanted to do today.
We left VBS and went to the mall for lunch.
Andru and Riley chose Pizza, Josie chose a hamburger, Randy and I chose Chinese food.
THEN
Bungee jump!!!
Riley chose the batting cage!
He made 15 home runs out of 20 hits!
Andru picked his birthday present

He's been saving his allowance to pay for half since it's a more expensive gift.
Next, we got to see "Mr. Poppers Penguins"
I really enjoyed the movie. It was a fun movie and it had a happy ending.
I love happy endings!!
Then we headed home for Andru's pick for Dinner -
mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and meatloaf!
We had a great day. We've had a great week!
Yesterday, the kids began getting tired of each other! (go figure) The boys usually ban together and that leaves Josie out. So she spent much time with her feelings hurt. For some reason last evening the boys started fussing. Randy told them they would be separated when we got home. Riley would need to move upstairs in a bedroom and Andru would stay in his room downstairs... Well, they immediately started getting along. Randy said, "give them a common enemy and they'll ban together!" Later they came to me and asked if I would talk to Papa and see if they could both stay in Andru's room PROMISING to go to sleep at 10:00... hmmm
If you are going to go to sleep anyway, why does it matter which room you're in!! :)
Two things have happened. The boys are getting along GREAT. And Josie has decided she has more fun with Randy and I than with the boys. So they aren't "picking" on her since she's not "bugging" them!! Kids! They are fun!
Day 4 of VBS is a day with a happy ending!
