I often wonder if "wisdom" is the right word to put in the title of my Wednesday musings. It is usually a quote - or a thought I've had or a soap box. Sometimes it's wise but not always.
Will Rogers was known for being wise and for being able to tell the truth with humor - that would often take a bit of the sting out of it. It's a gift to be able to do that. Not all can.
He once said:
"I don't tell jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts."
The thing is, the way things are in our country now, it's hard to find the "funny" in the facts.
