C.S. Lewis

20150821_100302

I made a trip to Barnes and Noble this week. It’s across town so I don’t just drop in there very often – this was a special before school trip.

Believe it or not, this was my only purchase! (oh, except for a small gift for our Children’s Director at church.)

I haven’t finished the book yet, but I have started it and so far I will say C.S. Lewis knew – he just knew how to put words onto paper. I admire his gift so very much.

  1. Yep, that is a very honest book. I had read it before, but reread it after Danny died. I think he must have written it as he was experiencing those feelings because his words as so exactly on and raw. I'm glad he didn't go back and make it nicer in the editing process. It lets us know that everyone feels grief just like you and I. Hey, when am going to get to come up there and have you show me your favorite spots? I'm ready when you are.
