I am at a loss for words.
Stunned, shocked.
But I feel as if these beautiful children from Newtown deserve our tribute.
Deserve the dignity of our thoughts, prayers, respect.
The Teachers and school employees also.
Anything said seems so cliched? trite? mundane?
And it is.
except for a promise -
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Rev 21:4
This then we have.
The promise of Jesus.
The promise and hope of heaven.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus, come.
