All of this world.
We are living in troubled times.
Our government is closed.
Our Supreme Court is overriding the votes of the people in individual states. - They are creating laws from the bench rather than upholding the laws made.
There are wars and rumors of wars.
There is famine.
There are "bad" things happening all over this world.
We don't have to look very far to see "all of this world."
Very easy for us to choose Jesus over "this world."
BUT
"all of this world" also includes the good things.
Do I choose Jesus over my lifestyle?
Do I choose Jesus over my church? My Life Group?
Do I choose Jesus over my home?
Do I choose Jesus over my family?
Do I choose Jesus over this wonderful life
I've built with my more than wonderful husband?
These are the questions that went through my mind this morning
as I was singing and praising God through this song.
Sometimes, it's easy to be a follower of the Crucified.
Sometimes, it's not.
But in all things, at all times - it is definitely more than worth it.
