table.  growing up, my family of four would gather around the table to eat supper together.  it was a special time to visit about our day and different things going on in each of our lives.  every once in a while, one of us would be in a bad mood, someone wouldn't like what mom had prepared, or one would have something negative to say.  but mostly, we had a good time chatting and enjoying each other's company.  we always gave thanks to God before we ate, and then, after our bellies were filled, we would usually tell mom (sometimes dad) thanks too.  my dad often said or did something funny to make my sister and i laugh.  at the end of some meals, he would eat a spoonful of honey, and i was quick to participate as well.  special memories.

Day 10: Table

This is the place where we break bread. The place we gather when guests are here. We love to have friends and family here and we love to eat! So it seems as if this is the entertainment hub of our home. Sometimes it has one less leaf - sometimes it has one more.

Love being around this table with our friends and with our families.
