this morning, my husband drove our little family to a nearby town, about ten miles away, to one of our favorite coffee shops.  rain was gently falling from the sky, and it was cool and cloudy.  baby fell asleep.  i embraced the silence and held my husband's hand.  we went through the drive through and came right back home.  baby woke, needing fed and changed.  cookies were made, laundry started, and dishes done.  baby fed again, and asleep again.  ahhhh, finally able to finish my now-luke-warm-latte...
